Connect on LinkedInMarie-Noelle Nwokolo is a strategist and policy advisor focused on economic transformation, governance, and implementation across Africa. She advises governments, research institutions, and international organisations on issues relating to jobs, investment, state capability, and institutional reform.
Over the past decade, she has worked across ten countries supporting the design and implementation of reforms in tourism, mining, economic diversification, youth employment, and post-crisis recovery. Her experience spans governments, multilateral institutions, think tanks, philanthropic organisations, and the private sector across Africa and internationally.
Marie-Noelle is particularly interested in the choices, institutions, and coalitions that enable countries to translate ambition into outcomes and policy into delivery.
As Director of Policy at 22CAI, she leads the organisation's policy and thought leadership agenda, helping shape evidence-based dialogue on Africa's most consequential development challenges.
She holds an MSc in Development Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA in International Business and Management from Dickinson College in the United States.
